The Patagonia Spider

Fitz Roy, Murallón, Cerro Torre, Riso Patrón, Standhart… Very high towers of rock, reflected in a sea of ice under a sky often altered by storms. Among the pioneers of Patagonian climbing, the name of Casimiro Ferrari stands out, who with “Ragni di Lecco” engraved his mark on the rock, the ice and the legends of Patagonia. Today, the young mountaineer Matteo della Bordella, with his companions, climbs Ferrari’s walls, repeating or opening new routes in a clean, light and futuristic style.
