Grand Prix of the City of Domžale
An excellent documentary that feels almost like a feature film. A wonderful screenplay and a great story that makes you think, but manages to do so without any heavy-handed moralizing. The film also showcases great teamwork between the locals with their traditional skills and knowledge and scientists from across the world. The filmmakers have given us a great example that applies to common problems of all mankind.
In the end, the viewer feels like they’ve actually been to Mongolia.

Best Mountains, Sports and Adventure Film
An extremely well-researched story about a shocking event, which manages to avoid being judgmental. An excellent reminder of how a relatively simple mountaineering adventure can quickly turn into a tragedy. The film also manages to clearly portray how group dynamics may impact life-and-death decisions.
