Explorers under the Earth

On a marché sous la Terre (Explorers under the Earth) follows the attempt of cave explorers Cédric Lachat and David Parrot to try and link the Gouffre de la Fromagère with the legendary Gouffre Berger, in the Vercors massif. Through rare and captivating underground footage, the film invites us to share the passion of a whole generation of speleologists and questions this “quest for the useless”, this insatiable need for discovery that pushes all explorers, always further, always higher, ever deeper…
