The book On the Rope to the Light (Po vrvi do svetlobe) by photographer and mountaineering instructor Alenka Klinar tells a story of climbing, the (ordinary) life of an individual, and inner transformation following a climbing accident in the Dolomites. It combines mountaineering tales with profound reflections, self-discovery, and rebuilding the foundations of life. Alenka explores how, despite losing her climbing identity, she rediscovered meaning and light in a life that transcends mere passion for mountaineering. The book offers insight into the depths of the human soul and encourages readers to seek new beginnings.

The author will discuss her work with Mojca Volkar Trobevšek, accompanied by a projection of photographs.
