20th FGF Announcement

It is with great pleasure that we announce the 20th Festival gorniškega filma that will be held from
9–14 February 2026.
We are proudly promoting mountain nature and culture: remote mountains, diverse cultures,
adrenaline-charged ascents, mystical nature… The beauty of the mountains will be brought to an
ever-increasing international audience.
The films will compete in the following categories: Mountaineering; Climbing; Mountains, Sports and
Adventure; Mountain Nature and Culture.
Submit your film to the most important mountain film festival in south-east Europe, a member of
International Alliance for Mountain Film.
The submission deadline is Friday, October 31st 2025.
